1000 Cranes*

1000 Cranes*

Photo Friday - Noteworthy Honor for "Arranged" - Thu Jun 10, 2010. Thanks everyone!

It took me a long time but all 1000 are done. (technically 1002 because there was only suppose to be 50 sheets of each color, but 2 of the colors had 51 sheets)

I debated long and hard about how to display them and never came up with anything special or unique. Originally I wanted to string them all up with fishing line but the area I live in is fairly dusty and i would not like to have dust collect on them. I ended up stuffing them all into a large glass jar for the time being.

I spent several hours just laying out the cranes and when time came around to take a photo of them, it was not easy to get all 1000 cranes in frame and still make it look good, but this is what I have to show.
