Just Waiting... chillin'

Just Waiting... chillin'

Photo Friday - Noteworthy Honor for "Motionless" - Thu Jul 08, 2010. Thanks everyone!

^It's exactly what I've been doing since the day I passed my exam, well... not completely. There were a bunch of loose ends I had to finish up when I moved back home, also not to mention the massive amounts of cleaning I had to do get all settled in again. Now that all of that's done, I think it's about time to snag a job somewhere. Just like that spider, it just sits there waiting for the right opportunity.

I always listen to my elders but not everything sinks in all the time. A few posts back I did say that I am going to have more time, and all of you laughed and said "good-luck". I am definitely going to have to take your word(s) on that, I will probably become so exhausted after work that I wont even want to pick up my camera. I must say though, photography is "life" to me and a stress reliever so it's going to be very hard to just put it aside, there is no giving up! More fresh material to come!

  • Fresh description you've got there to go along with the photo. it's a nice analogy, because once you are out in the real world, opportunities come and go. You just have to snatch it at the right time, just like a spider. Once again, good luck! =]

  • hey Brian -- thanks for all the visits and comments!! sorry to be so slow in reply -- but your visits are very appreciated! :)

beautiful work here -- i love this processing!! the bokeh has such a soft illuminated feel -- obscuring a good portion of the web -- but the faint bits of the web that we do see are just gorgeous!! a stunning shot!!

  • A fine close up of this spider. I think you will always find time for your photography. We all need to look aside from the world of work which tries to suck us in completely. Nice oost....and good luck!

  • Don't give up man, photograph is a fine hobby as well as a stress relief. Very good find on this spider. I'll bet this sucker is poisonous based on its fancy skin.
